If you live around Melbourne, need some new stuff for your RV and love a bargain, you won’t want to miss out on a ‘once-off’ clearance sale run by one of Australia’s biggest RV accessory suppliers.
Camec marketing co-ordinator Lauree Brewster said the four-day retail event in Melbourne’s outer south-east region “includes stock out of our warehouse that we need to clear. It could be superseded (items), or products we are overstocked with”.
Around 700 ‘lines’ of caravan and camping accessories (and as many as a million items in total) will be up for grabs, including various appliances, lighting and electrical items, towing equipment, fixtures and fittings, awnings, windows, doors, TV and audio equipment.
“They’re all still packaged and wrapped and good to go; there’s nothing wrong with them at all,” Brewster said.
While it was too early to supply specific pricing, she said items will be available from $1 and hinted at some “dirt cheap” prices of normally ‘big ticket’ items like 80 litre portable fridges and 28in TVs.
“There are limited quantities available and only while it lasts so get in early. Bring your truck, trailer or van. Stock must be taken on the day.
“This is a once-off opportunity in Melbourne so get in fast to pick up some great savings on caravan and camping accessories.”
The direct-to-the-public sale will take place at 36 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong, from June 9-12 (10am-5pm). Ongoing trading (Thursday-Sunday) will continue until all stock is sold.
In business for 45 years, Camec is one of Australia’s biggest suppliers of caravan and RV accessories and is part of ASX-listed Perth-based company Fleetwood RV, which also builds Coromal and Windsor caravans.
