What do you get when you cross a house-style 'sunroom' design with a rugged looking all-terrain campervan?
Something like the Atrium concept perhaps, which with its unique geometric bay window rear design is described by boutique Californian campervan manufacturer Texino as "the future of camping mobility".

Los Angeles-base Texino is currently building the Atrium but computer renderings show a futuristic, space capsule style separate motorhome body mounted on the back of what looks like a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 cab chassis platform.
Along with the wrapround rear glass-space, the angular body features small side portholes and twin skylights to let even more natural light in.
A very modern interior fit-out shows two single beds, that possibly convert to a dinette, and a galley with sink and what looks like an induction cooktop, with a number of cupboards and drawers for storage.

The Atrium also looks like it might be suitable for some bush bashing, with two spare off-road tyres tucked up under the bay windows, and Maxtrax style recovery planks mounted low down on the passenger side.
Texino says on its website that the Atrium is "coming soon", and if its looks anything like the concept a production version is sure to appeal to the millennial, vanlife crowd.
Texino began in 2018 by renting out rebuilt classic Volkswagen and LandCruisers, before launching its own range of trendy campervans, all based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.
