The Bullara Station Stay in the Exmouth Gulf of Western Australia has won three awards at the 2023 Grey Nomad Awards.
Situated on 250,000 acres, the agritourism pastoral property picked up the Gold Award for the Best Farm or Station Stay, the Best Grey Nomad Experience in Western Australia, and the Best of the Best Award.

Only open from April 1 to October 17 during the 'dry' season, Bullara offers a range of accommodation options from basic campsites to glamping huts, as well as a range of Outback activities including four wheel driving, bush walking, damper tasting, stargazing, burger nights and station animal spotting.
The Grey Nomad Awards are the latest in a number of tourism awards that Bullara Station has received in recent years, including a Silver trophy for Unique Accommodation at the 2023 WA Tourism Awards.
According to the Grey Nomads Awards website, the annual Awards targeted at mature age travellers "is a niche national tourism program that shines a light on the best places for older travellers to stay and play around the country. The Award announcements reflect achievements throughout 2023".
The Grey Nomad Awards kicked off in 2018, and entries in each of the 14 categories were judged by "tourism leaders, some of whom have experienced the grey nomad lifestyle personally".

"The Awards provide verified information that guides the travel decisions for over 50s on where to travel, where to stay and what to experience along the way."
