Limited edition version of NSW-built, top-shelf 13ft hybrid camper now available

A new limited-edition version of the cutting-edge BRS OffRoad Pursuit 13ft hard-shell camper will make its debut at next week’s Canberra Caravan, Camping and Lifestyle Expo.

Displayed by BRS Sydney dealer Camperact, production of the new BRS Pursuit Platinum 2020 will be limited to 20 units, with the new limited-edition model featuring a number of extras designed to make the 13ft hard-shell camper an even better proposition for hardcore off-road and off-grid camping adventures.

Additional exterior features on the BRS Pursuit Platinum 2020 include custom Seadek marine foam in the large underbed storage bay along with light grey Raptor Liner stone protection for the ?breglass cone.

There’s also a new 900mm x 900mm Aussie Traveller opening window with ?y screen and blind above the bed for skygazing at night, while the Platinum Pursuit 2020 interior also benefits from new flush-mount component panels in the overhead console and kitchen, new-style premium upholstered cushions and a Simarine digital gauge.

An Isotherm 105 litre stand-up fridge/freezer has also been added to make it easier to access cold food and drinks, while battery power has been upped from a 200Ah to 300Ah lithium battery.

The limited-edition ‘2020’ is based on the already well-equipped Pursuit Platinum edition, which comes standard with Cruisemaster air suspension, gas water/air heater and air-conditioner, 95L slide-out fridge and two 30L drawer fridges, microwave, TV, 320W roof-top solar and 282 litre (combined) fresh and grey water capacity.

Introduced around three years ago, the 13ft BRS Offroad Pursuit is constructed in Redwood, NSW largely from galvanized steel, marine aluminium and fibrelass composite panels, and boasts a unique hybrid design including two side-opening, top-hinged doors, one of which transforms into an off-the-ground shower/toilet area accessible from inside.

“We are proud to bring this new product to the ACT and unveil it at the Canberra show,” said Camperact managing director Peter Fenwick. “It has an extensive list of standard inclusions and represents a premium offroad hybrid camper built by a hot young designer and manufacturer.”

Camperact has not released pricing yet for the BRS Pursuit Platinum 2020, but said it will cost more than the Pursuit Platinum which is priced in the mid-$90k region.
