Brisbane's one-stop Talvor shop

Talvor Motorhomes, the manufacturing arm of RV rental giant Apollo Motorhome Holidays, is continuing its growth spurt with the establishment of a new showroom in the Sunshine State.

The Queensland-based manufacturer recently joined forces with Brisbane-based dealer GreenRV “to create a new one-stop shop for RV enthusiasts in Brisbane,” says Talvor CEO Luke Trouchet.

A family-owned business, GreenRV was established in 1997 in Gympie on the Sunshine Coast, specialising in used motorhome and caravans.

GreenRV's second dealership in the Brisbane suburb of Virginia currently showcases Talvor’s latest range of caravans and motorhomes, alongside other major brands including Supreme, Roma and Crossroads Cruiser.

Jack Green, son of GreenRV owner Carl Green, heads up the Brisbane showroom.

The move follows the recent opening of two new Talvor outlets in Tasmania and Townsville, extending to 10 the number of dealers across Australia and New Zealand. This year Talvor also expanded the reach of its motorhome rental fleet by joining forces with car rental giant Hertz.

Established in 2005, Talvor Motorhomes launched its first range of caravans last year, boosting its line-up including campervans and motorhomes to 16 models in total.

With the opening of a second manufacturing facility in New Zealand in 2010, Talvor currently builds around 800 vehicles a year for private and commercial use.

Talvor's range will also be on display at the Queensland Caravan, Camping & Touring Holiday Show at the RNA Showgrounds, from June 6-12.
