Brand new Bailey Valencia up for grabs

A luxury-lined Bailey caravan worth $57,500 is up for grabs at this year’s NSW Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow, which runs from April 20-28 at Rosehill Racecourse in Parramatta.

The latest ‘Australianised’ edition of the UK-built, Valencia S2 touring caravan, is the major prize in the traditional Passport Competition, which is open to anyone who buys a ticket to the show.

With a Tare weight of just 1492kg, the fully-equipped, four-berth van features a full complement of Bailey features, including Alu-Tech GRP construction, anti-sway chassis, and a stylish, comfy interior comprising full rear ensuite and walk-around double bed, kitchen, and front lounge/dinette.

Second prize in the Passport Competition is a '30 second' RV-5 tent from OzTent, plus a bunch of accessories including an additional room and panels, chairs, table and sleeping bags, valued at $3294.

While third prize is from another Australian manufacturer, Evakool, which is giving away a 47 litre portable fridge/freezer with 100 watt solar panel kit worth $2532.

As one of Australia’s largest RV shows, organisers are expecting up to 80,000 people through the gates during the nine-day show, which is celebrating its 45th year in 2013. Last year’s Passport Competition attracted 20,000 entries.

As well as the possibility of winning a great prize, attendees at this year’s event can also expect to see plenty of just-released products as well as some new brands among the 300-odd exhibitors.

Along with the latest Bailey Valencia S2 caravan, Italian slide-on campers from Mondo Pick-up will be making their Australian show debut.

Cut-price camper trailer manufacturer Market Direct Campers is also expected to display some fresh 2013 models including its latest Ranger Extreme hard-floor camper.

As well as displays on pretty much everything to do with RVs and touring around Australia, this year’s Supershow will also offer children's entertainment as well as free educational seminars for the 'older' kids.
