Boss RT1 wins Best New Product award

One of the best built and most user-friendly rooftop tents on the Australian market, has won a major trophy in the 2021 caravancampingsales Innovation Awards.

The Boss RT1 rooftop tent picks up the Best New Product/Accessory gong in the inaugural caravancampingsales Innovation Awards, which are designed to recognize and reward advancements in the areas of technology, design, quality and safety throughout the Australian RV industry.

“The Boss RT1 is a mechanical work of art and ticks all the boxes when it comes to what you really need in a rooftop tent,” said caravancampingsales’ editor and Innovation Awards judge Chris Fincham.

“Not only is it beautifully designed and constructed and really easy to set up, there’s plenty of comfort features such as enough standing room inside to get changed on the queen size mattress, and the tough wall canvas and insulated floor and roof panels really are perfect for all-seasons travel,” he said.

“Sure, it's expensive and on the heavy side compared to some of its fibreglass rivals, but what price quality and durability when touring tough Outback conditions?”

The Boss RT1 was a clear winner in the Best New Product/Accessory category, with two out of the four judges giving it their top vote among the six contenders.

Also polling well with the judges was the Redarc GoBlock portable lithium battery pack and the OzTent Redgum heated sleeping bag.

Other finalists in the Best New Product/Accessory category were the Reverse Mate reversing aid, DLG eco-friendly fashion annexe mats and the ARB 4x4 slide-out kitchen.

The other category winners in the 2021 caravancampingsales Innovation Awards include the Geotrek Trek-XP (Best New RV), Safiery 48V (Best New Technology), and AL-KO Tow Assist (Best New Safety Feature).
