Another ex-Jayco employee has joined the leadership ranks of fast-growing Australian RV tech company BMPRO.
Alex Bugeja was recently appointed Chief Operations Officer (COO) at BMPRO, joining new BMPRO CFO, Jasmin Lakhani on the top floor of the Setec-owned business.
Shane Holloway took on the role of GM Retail Development at BMPRO in 2020, after holding senior roles at both Jayco and New Age Caravans.
As part of his new role, Mr Bugeja will lead and scale BMPRO’s supply chain and production, research and development, engineering services, quality, and executive service teams.
He said he was looking forward to working at another great Australian organisation, after stints at plumbing supplies giant Reece Group as well as Jayco in a 25 year management career.
“I’m grateful to be associated with a company that serves the recreational vehicle industry, something that’s been a foundation of my career for the last 17 years at Jayco," he said.
"I’m also excited to be venturing into new spaces such as power electronics that provide greater exposure to a more varied range of customers.”
BMPRO CEO Louise Bayliss said boosting its leadership team was yet another milestone in the growth of the nine-year old BMPRO brand.
“I am delighted to welcome someone of Alex’s calibre and industry experience that will provide us with the leadership and rigour required to guide us towards achieving our strategic priorities, domestically and internationally,” she said.
BMPRO said it has more than 150,000 of its systems installed across various power management, control, and monitoring systems in both Australian and overseas vehicles, including well-known caravan brands Jayco, New Age, Concept and Coronet.
