The annual Camp and Care charity event is on again with 100, or more than half of all Big4 holiday parks around Australia taking part on Friday, November 16.
The cost is just $20 to secure a site, with all proceeds from the event going to local causes as chosen by the participating parks. Participants need to supply their own tents and camping equipment.
BIG4 general manager of marketing, Kari Hunter, said the fun event brings families and friends together in a true community atmosphere, whilst also supporting a local cause.
"Not only does it offer people a chance to give back to the community, but it also reintroduces people to the classic Aussie tradition of camping, all in the best holiday park accommodation on offer in the country," she said.
"Last year’s event was a great success, raising much needed funds for causes such as local surf clubs and CFA’s, medical research organisations and the Royal Flying Doctors."
Many parks will be hosting additional activities over the weekend including pancake breakfasts, face painting and BBQs.
Aside from the Big4 holiday chain, other Camp and Care sponsors include Maui, CIL Caravan and RV Insurance and Mitsubishi Motors.
See the Big4 website for the list of participating parks and further information.
