More than 130 holiday parks around the country are gearing up for this year’s Come Camp with Big4 on November 5.
Australia’s biggest night of free camping is in its seventh year, with more than 10,000 people participating in last year’s fund-raising event.
Big4 Holiday Parks acting CEO James Shearer said Come Camp with Big4 was a great opportunity to grab the kids or a group of friends and experience the thrill of camping. Participants just need to bring a tent, camping gear and a sense of adventure.
“For some, camping is a chance to enjoy the fresh air and relax, while for others it’s about exploring a new place and giving your family an all new experience,” Shearer said.
“Guests can make new friends around the barbecues and kids can enjoy all the entertainment options.”
Powered or unpowered sites are available at participating Big4 parks, although many popular parks are already booked out.
This year’s event will again support Big4 Holiday Parks’ charity partner, The Humour Foundation’s Clown Doctors. All money raised through the event’s fundraising activities and a percentage of all Big4 memberships sold over the weekend will go to the cause.
Free family-friendly activities and games will include face painting, treasure hunts, and a pancake breakfast.
Places are strictly limited and bookings are essential. For further details visit Come Camp with Big4 website
