NSW tiny home builder Hauslein has released its second recreational vehicle; this time pitching to dirt bike riders who don't like to slum it too much when camping and carrying all their gear.
Earlier this year the Port Macquarie based business built a a unique Peugeot Boxer campervan complete with 'coastal chic' interior fit-out, and now it's created its first tandem axle toy hauler caravan.
The big boxy, 8.0m long towable RV features a power-operated drop-down rear ramp and spacious rear garage/workshop area, so motorcycling enthusiasts can just ride straight from the dirt tracks into the fit-out without having to duck their heads or worrying about hitting something.
Despite its clean minimalist look, Hauslein says the 3500kg ATM toy hauler is loaded up with off-grid features including lithium batteries and plenty of fresh water storage, along with an internal kitchen and bathroom and bedding for up to three people.
Fitted with three fixed wheel mounts in the loading dock, the garage is designed to hold up to 400kg of motorised or non-motorised toys including motorbikes, mountain bikes, go-karts, ATVs, surfboards, foil boards, snowboards, and even a jetski.
Moving towards the front of the gas-free van reveals a kitchenette with sink, mixer tap and rangehood, with a portable methylated spirits cooker stored in one of the cupboards for heating up food or drinks or cooking meals.
Lounging and sleeping is on a big L-shaped day/night bed and single bunk up front, not far from the walk-in ensuite with its separate toilet and residential-style shower cubicle.
The boxy toy hauler also comes with an electric hot water unit, floor-mounted air conditioner, side entry door and a couple of caravan-style windows, along with a full off-grid lithium battery system including 800W rooftop solar panels, a DC-DC charger and pure sine wave inverter.
Being a Hauslein, it also gets some funky OSB timber-clad interior wall panelling, with contrasting matte black furniture and matching sinks and tapware.
"The Häuslein Hauler is born out of our passion for getting out into the great Australian outdoors," the company explains on its website.
"Compared to conventional caravans the Häuslein Hauler has a refreshingly sleek-look – without all the busy exterior vents, flaps, panels, and gas bottles – and yet it’s fully off-grid powered and ready to take you to your playground."
Pricing is around $95,000 depending on the fit-out. For further details visit the Hauslein website.
