Aftermarket brakes specialist Bendix is the latest organisation to get behind Outback Cleanups Australia, a registered not-for-profit charity dedicated to removing rubbish from land and water around Australia’s remote coastal areas, bushlands and marine environments -- much of it left behind by thoughtless campers and boaters.
It's believed Bendix is supplying financial assistance as well as new parts for Outback Cleanups Australia founder Boe Langford's 75 Series Toyota LandCruiser 'Troopy', which has clocked up more than half a million kilometres.

OCA is also currently building a a new custom-built 'trash' trailer which will be able to haul up to 850kg of collected rubbish on future trips, which include a land and marine clean-up around Cape York planned for later this year.
Boe Langford established the organisation in 2019 and together with his partner Kimberley Baraiolo, have collected over 61 tonnes of rubbish on various trips around the country.
In a statement Bendid said it's proud to be supporting Outback Cleanups Australia on its mission to preserve Australia's beautiful environment, by not only helping them continue their travels, but also by spreading awareness about the important work that they do.

Bendix joins a number of official partners supplying products and/or financial assistance to OCA including recovery gear specialist Saber Austraila, electronics manufacturer Redarc and Toyo Tyres.
“We are happy to be supporting such a great cause with Outback Cleanups Australia, along with a host of other environmental initiatives – it’s an important part of our program and further strengthens our position as a strong environmentally conscious company,” FMP Group (Australia) Pty Ltd (Bendix) General Manager, George Kyriakopoulos said.
