Battery monitor

If you like to know how much life your battery has left, how efficiently your system is charging, or whether your vehicle will start after you've been camping, a National Luna Battery Monitor can help you keep track from the driver's seat

Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers with auxiliary batteries or 4WDs with dual battery systems, the monitor uses calibrated, colour-coded LED displays to show charge rate and battery capacity. The graduated scale shows charging efficiency and available discharge capacity.

That means you can gauge how long accessories can be left running and decide if you can stay camped with the fridge and lights going, or whether you need to fire up the engine and recharge your batteries.

Because the monitor shows how much charge the batteries are getting, you can see how efficiently your system is working, how quickly batteries will recharge, and how much capacity you can expect. There’s also an audible alarm when the batteries are running flat.

The monitors are supplied as a retrofit kit to suit single, dual and multiple battery systems, with prices from $99 for the single-battery and $144 for the dual-battery version.
