Avida slashes caravan pricing
Sharp run-out deals on superseded caravan models at most Avida dealersAvida is offering sharp run-out deals across its nationwide dealer network on superseded 2017-model Emerald and Topaz caravans, as they make way for the NSW manufacturer’s latest, updated versions.
Buyers are being promised that they will ‘save thousands’ off the retail price on floorstock vans, with an additional $2000 factory rebate thrown in for purchases before November 30.
Melbourne Avida dealer Robert’s RV World currently has 10 Topaz and five Emerald ‘run-out’ specials, covering most of the available layouts except for bunk bed family floorplans. Prices have been slashed by $7000, which includes the factory rebate.
The deals include a well-equipped, 17ft Avida Emerald two berth single axle model, advertised for $57,490 drive-away, while Avida’s South Australian dealer has an even sharper deal of $52,990 for a similar model.
Robert’s RV has also dropped the asking price of a 2017-model 23ft tandem-axle, Avida Topaz with Multi-Terrain pack, club lounge and slide-out queen bed by $9000, to $95,990.
Fresh face for new models
Already arriving in dealerships, the updated 2018 Avida Emerald models feature a more eye-catching, frontal design that mimicks the upmarket Topaz range, including a new design stone guard over the front window and front lockable boot that hides the gas bottles.
The new front section has also increased the Emerald’s body size by around 100mm.
Other changes include a choice of new interior colours, a new integrated display and control unit, new battery management system, and more options including a slide out BBQ, outdoor entertainment unit and gloss cabinetry.
Other additions to the five-model Emerald range include a new 23ft, tandem axle slide-out layout with more relaxing, club lounge at the front instead of a cafe dinette.
“We are very excited about the launch of the new Emerald design providing a stylish look for the front of the Emerald, which is now more in line with the Avida Topaz caravan range,” said Avida sales and marketing manager, Billy Falconer.
“Based on customer feedback we have made several changes to 2018 Emerald range, introduced new layouts and added many more options.”
Meanwhile, Avida’s Topaz caravan range gains a new 22ft model with slide-out queen bed and front club lounge, and there’s also a new 23ft family Topaz option with front kitchen, slide-out queen bed and club lounge, rear ensuite and double or triple bunks.
