Avida Longreach gets more kit

Big Sydney-built 32ft, $400K-plus motorhome receives a freshen-up for 2023

One of the biggest and most expensive A-class-style motorhome tourers in the country has come in for a facelift.

Avida’s range-topping, 9.85m-long Isuzu truck-based Longreach has benefitted from a number of cosmetic and standard equipment upgrades for 2023, designed to make the monster motorhome more attractive to buyers with just over $400,000 to spend.

Among the long list of changes are the fitment of two roll-out awnings for the outside living as well as external kitchen areas, and a new all-in-one speaker for the outside entertainment unit that also folds down to form a table.

The MY23 Longreach motorhome also get a better-equipped outside kitchen with sink, cooktop and drawer, along with a new entry door and updated internal step, black external highlights, a new fibreglass internal roof, new windows with built-in blinds, a washer/dryer combination and additional full bin storage.

Interior updates extend to a larger 216L fridge/freezer and a new on-demand hot water service, while furniture tweaks include a new-design rear wardrobe and cupboards, soft-close drawers and smooth overhead cupboards.

The kitchen also gets a new fold-down bench, microwave cabinet, and curved European-style overheads, and the bathroom has a new vanity with above-bench ceramic sink. Avida has also put new shelves in the slide-out bedroom, along with an upholstered bed base and new drawers in the dinette.
