Aussie flavour at Euro mega-show

Three local brands fly the flag at world’s biggest and most prestigious caravan show
The annual Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, Germany is where all the biggest names in Australian caravan manufacturing go to cherry pick the latest RV trends and fashions, before returning home and incorporating some of them on next year's models.
This year’s Caravan Salon from August 27 to September 4 is the biggest ever, held in 12 massive indoor halls over 210,000 square metres that would takes days to explore by foot.
All up, 590 exhibitors from around the world, including 130 caravan and motorhome brands, are represented, with 2100 recreational vehicles on display.
Exhibitors flying the flag for Australia this year are South Australian electronics accessories manufacturer Redarc, Victorian 12V evaporative cooler company Transcool, and UK company Purpleline, which is displaying the latest, Oz-spec Opus camper.
