The 2021 Brisbane 4x4 Show won't be all big-ticket touring rigs and the latest off-road accessories.
For those looking for a new bush-ready RV, a number of off-road caravans and campers will also be on display including some making their debut at the annual National 4x4 Outdoors Show, which will run from March 19 to 21 at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Following the release of its top-end rear-fold camper, South Australian manufacturer OffLine Campers will have its second new model on display at the Brisbane show.
The upmarket Tvan-style Offline Domino is a hard-body compact off-road camper with internal double bed and rear door entry that, like the Offline Raker, has a power-assisted opening mechanism for easier set-up.
However, its real party trick is the availability of two user-friendly camping modes: 'Travel mode' is simply jumping into the double bed for quick overnight stops by manually opening the two-part rear door with built-in steps, while 'Camp Mode' takes an extra couple of minutes and involves pressing a switch to activate the powered roof section that automatically folds over to form an additional canvas-covered hard-floor living area.
Priced from $64,000, the premium lightweight camper also includes a well-equipped external slide-out kitchen and swing-away outside shower tent among many other standard features.
Queensland's Bonetti Campers will also display the latest version of its tough Toyota LandCruiser 70 series based 'Cruisinator' off-road campervan at the show, while Bushwakka is debuting the new Aussie-built Dingo Den hard-lid roof-top tent with built-in awning and connections to power portable electronic devices.
Patriot Campers is set to show off some of its 2021-range of camper trailers and PCOR-accessorised touring rigs, while other RV exhibitors include All Terrain Warriors, Trackabout, Trayon, Opus, Star Vision, Stoney Creek, Australian Off Road, EzyTrail, Fantasy, Maverick and Jawa Campers.
