Arizon opens new Chinese RV battery facilities

Melbourne-based off-grid specialist seeks to become a global player in end-to-end RV power systems

Melbourne-based RV power solutions provider Arizon Off-Grid says it has opened up new manufacturing facilities in China in response to the growing number of Australian and global caravan manufacturers building offshore.

Arizon says the new Chinese facilities including a dedicated production and manufacturing hub, and lithium battery factory, will make it both cheaper and easier for it to supply its Australian designed power systems directly to manufacturers in China.

According to Caravan Industry Association of Australia data, around half of all RVs sold in Australia are currently built overseas (compared to less than a quarter 10 years ago). The CIAA says local manufacturers accounted for 23,963 RVs built in 2025, compared to 23,244 RVs built overseas, mostly in China.

Arizon has been operating as a green-energy provider for 12 years in Epping, Victoria, and made a major play for the 'end-to-end' caravan OEM off-grid battery market with the launch of its Nexus digital switching system in late-2025.

Arizon components including Victron products are increasingly being installed in locally sold caravans from the likes of Titanium, Wonderland, Sunland, Trail RV, and Jawa.

Arizon says the China based facilities will produce power control systems and lithium batteries across 12V, 24V and 48V platforms.

“We have experienced significant growth over the past three years, driven by demand for high-quality power solutions across the caravan and industrial sectors,” explained Arizon Off-Grid Executive Director, Roy Ding.

“With more manufacturers producing caravans and camper trailers in China, it made strategic sense for us to establish a local manufacturing presence. This allows us to supply our systems directly at the point of production, reducing lead times, lowering costs, and maintaining build quality.”

Alongside the international expansion and launch of its new Nexus system, Arizon Off-Grid is set to roll out more new products in coming months including 12V 230Ah and 314Ah lithium batteries produced at its China facility.
