ARB has used North America’s largest automotive aftermarket show, SEMA in Las Vegas, as the place to rip the wraps of its latest portable, dual-zone fridge/freezers.
Sporting a distinctive black and gold exterior colour theme, the new ARB Zero portable fridge range includes two sizes (a 69 litre and 96 litre). According to ARB, both models feature dual cooling zones independently controlled via the panel on the front or wirelessly via an app on compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices.
The 69L version has one lid and an internal freezer compartment that can be removed to increase fridge space, while the bigger 96L model has two lids to keep compartments separate and chilled accordingly.
ARB says they both feature a “boost’ function for rapid cool down and anti-condensation technology to keep contents dry and at the temperature you need”.
“The Zero Fridge Freezer can be installed in your car, camper trailer or caravan with ease thanks to the side opening, quick-release lid to swap openings, and front and rear DC inlets,” the 4WD accessories specialist said. “For extra convenience, the fridge also features a front AC inlet for home or powered site connection and a handy USB outlet to charge your devices."
The new ARB Zero fridges will be available for sale from ARB stores and stockists from late January 2020. RRP is $1599 and $1799, respectively.
