Fitting various off-road accessories like driving lights, dual batteries and air compressors to your 4WD vehicle can quickly lead to a dash full of out-of-place, hard to reach switches, not to mention myriad gauges and monitors.
To help clean up your dash, ARB is releasing a new Linx touchscreen interface that allows the driver to control all their accessories from the one convenient, digital display.
The system includes a mobile touchscreen display that mounts to a magnetic gimbal installed within easy reach of the driver. This connects to the main control unit, which is installed out-of-sight either underneath the dash or the seat.
Out of the box, the Linx system offers control of six pre-installed modules: Front & Rear Traction, Compressor & Pressure Control, Battery Monitoring, Speedometer, Air Suspension Control and an Accessory Switchboard.
The Linx display can be customized including background colours, and all USB cables and wiring looms for installation are included. There are also options available including a vehicle specific mount and Pressure Control Kit to control tyre inflation.
ARB Linx will go on sale in January 2018, priced from $795 (excluding fitting).
