AOR offers scratch protection

Protect your off-road fibreglass van from scratches and airborne nasties
In what could be a first for the Australian RV industry, Queensland-based Australian Off Road is offering automotive-style paint protection as an option on its upmarket off-road vans
AOR says the Ceramic Pro Paint Protection can be applied to both new and used AOR camper trailers and caravans with fiberglass bodies.
“Ceramic Pro is not a paint protection wax or sealant that will wash away, it is a Nano-Ceramic Coating that forms a long term adhesion to the paint work like an additional layer of clear coat, making it highly durable,” the company says on its website.
“It will help to avoid scuff marks and protect your van from unsightly chips and scratches.”
AOR says the paint protection system is applied by trained staff and backed by a three year warranty.
Costing from $1450 to $1950 depending on the size of the van, the Ceramic Pro Protection is applied to all fiberglass surfaces including the roof, as well as things like roof vents, power point covers, water fillers and powder coated items like the rear bar and generator box.
Other items like jockey wheels, awnings, main entry doors and perspex windows are not treated.
