Another American beauty from Talvor

Talvor has released another American-built caravan onto the Australian market, as the Queensland manufacturer continues to add to its already extensive range of Australian and US-built caravans and motorhomes.

Boasting a 23ft long body, the latest 565A caravan is cheaper than the 680A and 750C models released earlier this year, which are also built at Talvor’s new production facility in California.

It’s likely to offer around the same 2315kg Tare as the 680A, although Talvor is yet to release any figures regarding weights.

Priced at $55,290, Talvor says the two-berth 565A has been designed to appeal to short-stay and week-end travellers. Like Talvor’s bigger 750C model, it has a hot dipped galvanized chassis with tandem axles and its body is constructed from fibreglass sandwich.

The front bed/rear ensuite layout includes a fully-equipped kitchen and club lounge/dinette finished in ‘ultra leather’ upholstery. Buyers have a choice of interior finishes.

Standard equipment on the 565A includes air-conditioning, roll-out awning, LED lighting, 100aH battery and charger, hot/cold internal and external shower, queen-size innerspring mattress, 18.5in TV and audio-visual system, and 170 litre three-way fridge.

It also has a 148 litre fresh water tank (and optional water filter) and 83 litre grey water tank.

Options available include a reversing camera, washing machine, heater, external BBQ and electric awning.

“Overall we’re delighted with the look and feel of the 565A, I think it will appeal greatly to the casual traveller,” said Talvor CEO Luke Trouchet.

The 565A caravan, along with a new flagship 750D slide-out model, will be on display at Talvor’s factory-direct sale in Brisbane on May 8-11.
