All-new Snowy River Pop Top caravans break cover

Big-selling caravan brand Snowy River has pulled the covers of its first range of pop-top touring caravans, which will officially go on sale next month and be available in four value-packed models priced from $58,490 tow-away.

Joining the current Snowy River line-up of SRC Touring and SRT Multi-Terrain hardtop models, the all-new SRP Pop Top range is available in single-axle 18ft and 19ft tandem-axle body lengths, with a choice of couple or family ensuite layouts.

All SRP models feature a travel height of 2658mm, with Tare weights ranging from 1893kg-2164kg, and an ATM rating of either 2500kg or 3000kg.

The new pop-tops have a similar 'Alopex' fibreglass composite and black checkerplate body construction as other Snowy River models, while the pop-top composite roof boasts a remote-controlled power-lift mechanism as well as extra internal pop-top tent padding for improved insulation.

All SRP variants are built on a galvanised chassis with independent rubber torsion suspension, 12in electric drum brakes and a 50mm ball coupling, and come standard with twin 95L fresh water tanks, a roll-out awning, picnic table and outside TV connections, a rear camera, twin 9kg gas bottles and a gas bayonet, along with twin 180W rooftop solar panels and a 100Ah lithium battery.

All four SRP layouts feature a well-equipped kitchen, lounge-dinette, shower and toilet, as well as either an east-west or north-south double bed, and twin bunks on family versions.

Other standard features across the range include a rooftop air-conditioner, 24in Smart TV, Bluetooth stereo, large upright fridge-freezer, microwave, two-burner cooktop, and an instant hot water system.

As far as personalisation goes, buyers can choose from four exterior colours and seven decal options, as well as nine different interior colour schemes. An external shower and a washing machine are extra-cost options.

The new SRP Pop Tops are now available for pre-order from Snowy River dealers and will be on public display for the first time at the Melbourne Caravan & Camping Leisurefest at Sandown Racecourse from October 3-6.
