Four-year old Aussie manufacturer Offline Campers has ripped the covers of its "newest and greatest creation so far", the Solitaire hybrid pop-top, which is aimed at both couples and families who want a premium off-grid hybrid that can be towed into some of Australia's most inhospitable regions.
Teased earlier this year, the new Solitaire hybrid is the fourth off-road towable model from the South Australian manufacturer which also offers a hard-floor camper, a small toy hauler and a compact hard-lid hybrid.
The new Solitaire pop-top is available in 14ft (4.5m) and 16ft (5.1m) body lengths, and measures 1.8m wide x 2.35m high (in travel mode). It weighs around 1500-1600kg unloaded, with an ATM of 2500kg, and has a starting price of between $123,000-$133,000 depending on the variant.
For that, you get a similar high-quality platform-base and hi-tech composite build as other Offline models, together with Cruisemaster ATX airbag suspension, 12in electric brakes, an ARK jockey wheel and lower stone protection, high-lift jack and recovery points, fitted as standard.
Like other Offline campers there's a large, fixed north/south innerspring queen bed in the internal front section, with further space inside for a small dinette, lounge and kitchen area.
Behind that there's an external, integrated tent ensuite that opens up via electric opening rear floor and pop-top roof mechanisms, including an automatic slide-out and drop down holder for a composting toilet.
The Solitaire comes standard with 310 litres' water storage, 200Ah lithium batteries, 300W rooftop solar and a 2600W inverter, with the option to upgrade to 800W rooftop solar and 600Ah lithium batteries.
Other standard features include Sirocco fans, a diesel hot water and space heater, a powered awning, cabin dust filter and pressurisation, and an external kitchen with plumbed gas and hot water, a 95L fridge freezer, sink with mixer tap and a three burner cooktop, while both variants deliver up to 2000L storage via a combination of external and internal compartments.
The Solitaire can also be optioned up with an air conditioner, Starlink and 24in Smart TV.
