All invited! First Aussie caravan street party kicks off

Can't wait to visit the Melbourne Leisurefest show in late-September?

Well, the JB Group is putting on a mini expo and sales event this week-end at its new JB Pakenham dealership, which will also involve a bunch of the best-known Aussie-made RV brands as well some show-style attractions... and the good news is it's free to enter.

As well as enticing discounts and deals on various models from all the JB Group brands, including JB, New Age, Traveller and Paradise, the inaugural Aussie Caravan & RV Street Party will include quite a few display and 'for sale' 'vans from fellow Melbourne RV manufacturers including Nova, Goldstream, Jayco, Avan/Golf, Kokoda, Viscount, Design RV and Franklin.

With suppliers including Thetford, Dometic, eTime, Aussie Traveller and Xtend Outdoors also taking part, the three-day event will feature tech talks from industry professionals, an owners' club zone, tow vehicle sessions, parts and accessories for sale, live music, kids' entertainment, and a number of prizes and giveaways.

If you get the nibblies there are food trucks, coffee, and refreshments available throughout the week-end event, while all dads will get a free feed on Father's Day (Sunday September 7). There's also plenty of nearby street parking available.

We're not entirely sure how much you'll be able to save on a new homegrown 'van by attending the RV street party, but it should be a decent amount with JB Caravans currently advertising up to $18,000 off stock 'vans as part of its Spring Sale, while the event website is promising a "once-a-year opportunity for exclusive pricing".
