Two new compact and lightweight offerings from Adria – a new retro-style, entry-level micro-caravan and Fiat-based campervan – are making their debut at the Queensland Caravan, Camping & Holiday Supershow from June 7-12 at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Following on from the launch of the super lightweight 15ft Aviva 472 PK family van at the Melbourne Supershow, Adria Australia has released an even lighter 13ft 2in (4.01m) couple’s van with a Tare weight of 960kg and ATM of 1400kg. Despite its compact dimensions, the European-built Action 361 LT squeezes in many internal features of larger vans including a front dinette that converts to a 2m x 2m double bed or two single beds, wardrobe, kitchenette with two gas burner cooktop, sink with hot/cold water and 90 litre three-way fridge, and combination shower/toilet.
Styling wise, it should stand out on the road with both front and rear curved body sections while the interior promises to be light-filled courtesy of a large, curved panoramic window above a smaller window at the front, plus a roof hatch.
AL-KO running gear, 50 litre water tank, 14in alloy wheels, gas/electric hot water system, 100Ah battery and charger, 4.5kg gas bottle, awning and LED lights are among other standard features.
The new entry-level, European-built Adria van has a RRP of $40,190 but had 'show special' pricing in Brisbane of $36,190.
The Adria 361 has been on the market in Europe for years and was previously introduced to Australia about 13 years ago before being withdrawn.
Meanwhile, the Fiat Ducato-based Twin 600 SP campervan also making its debut in Brisbane is Adria Australia’s first van-based motorhome.
Offering two berths and on-the-move seating for four, Adria says the new, mid-sized campervan “has been built to maximise living space” and features two swivel front seats, café dinette that converts to a single bed, kitchenette, combination shower/toilet and a fixed, east-west double bed at the rear.
The Twin 600 SP campervan has a RRP of $103,237.
Adria is also displaying at the show a prototype of a new version of its Fiat Ducato-based Coral motorhome with a queen bed that slides out at the rear. The Coral XL 660 SCS motorhome measures 24ft long, sleeps up to five people and drives-away for under $140,000 depending on options.
