AC-PRO air compressor
A portable air compressor to suit the recreational off-road set, priced at just $199AC-PRO has released the all-new Vortex portable air compressor, which the manufacturer claims can inflate a 33-inch tyre up to 30psi in just under 70 seconds.
Operating at 160 litres per minute, the 12-volt, 150PSI air compressor features a heavy-duty all-metal construction and utilises stainless steel valves and sealed bearings for increased reliability.
It also has an easily accessible air filter, while the 600W motor has an auto-reset thermal overload switch to ensure the compressor doesn’t falter while off the beaten track.
The air compressor comes complete with heavy-duty battery clips, a 2.4-metre cable and an 8-metre hose with a secure valve attachment.
An in-line tyre pressure gauge is also included, featuring a deflator button for quick and easy deflation and tyre pressure correction.
For when drivers encounter sandy or muddy conditions, a sand tray has also been fitted to the base of the air compressor to prevent it from burying itself.
The compressor and all its fittings fit into the supplied carry bag.
AC-PRO Vortex air compressors are available from automotive, transport and four-wheel drive outlets throughout Australia, retailing for $199.
