One of Australia's biggest caravan dealers is now selling one of the nation's biggest caravan brands, with Kratzmann Caravans & Motorhomes recently appointed the new south-east Queensland retail and service outlet for the latest range of Melbourne-built New Age caravans and camper trailers.
Located just off the Bruce Highway in Burpengary East, Kratzmann is the largest as well as one of the oldest dealerships in Queensland, with 10 different RV brands covering a wide variety of camper trailers, caravans and motorhome now represented on its six-hectare property, which includes an indoor showroom, extensive outdoor display area and modern service centre.
It's the latest dealer re-shuffle for New Age, which also recently appointed Sydney RV as its new retail outlet in the important Sydney market.
Both the Penrith-based Sydney RV multi-brand dealership and Kratzmanns Burpengary outlet were purchased by Brisbane-based Apollo Tourism & Leisure around six years ago. Apollo became a part of New Zealand RV giant Tourism Holdings in late-2022, and also manufactures and imports a number of its own retail brands in Australia including Adria, Coromal, Windsor and Winnebago.
New Age Managing Director Chris Polites said the latest dealer change, which officially begins on December 1, 2023, will help New Age tap into the booming South East Queensland growth corridor, north of Brisbane.
“We are delighted to welcome Kratzmann Caravans to our family of dealers in Australia, a respected and trusted name in the industry," he said.
“There’s no doubt South East Queensland is going through a huge growth period, which is why this partnership makes sense for us, and for customers north of Brisbane. They are a fantastic addition to our wide-ranging dealer network right around Australia."
Kratzmann Caravans & Motorhomes Dealer Principal, Liam McCarthy said he was excited to be appointed as New Age's retailer and preferred repairer in the north Brisbane area.
"The partnership will align two very large organizations and create a new level of professionalism which has not yet been experienced within the RV industry, and we really look forward to showcasing opportunities to the market," he said.
