Think a half a million dollar A-class Winnebago motorhome is pretty exxy? Then take a look at the Elemment Palazzo, a new £1.9m ($2.9 million) motor-mansion from Austrian company Marchi Mobile.
This 12m-long, 20 tonne motorhome has more interior room than a one bedroom flat, with 20 square metres or 40 square metres including the slide-out section. There’s plenty of headroom too, with 2.5m internal height.
According to Marchi Mobile, “The Elemment Palazzo unites characteristics from motor, yachting and aviation sports such as a sports car rear diffuser, the business jet gang way or the motor yacht flybridge”.
Entry is easy via the automatic, drop-down gangway, and you can entertain your millionaire friends in the‘sky lounge’ or liftable flybridge on the roof.
The lavish layout is divided into three separate areas: a master bedroom and ensuite fit for a king (with rainfall shower) and nightclub-style living area.
Claimed as an automotive first, the glow-in-the-dark paint will make the Palazzo stand out as much at night as during the day. CCTV cameras have been fitted to help you keep an eye on your substantial investment.
Befitting its eye-watering pricetag, luxury appointments abound including under-floor heating, 40-inch satellite TV, a working fireplace, and separate bar area.
The 380kW engine will propel the motorhome to a top speed of 150km/h, with fuel economy a thirsty 22L/100km.
Although a bit odd-looking, the radically-sculpted 'biomorphic' front-end is said to make this very expensive toy around 20 per cent more aerodynamic.
