2025 Trakka Torino off-grid camper unveiled

Fiat Ducato-based Torino model returns to the Trakka line-up after a two-year hiatus

NSW's Trakka has pulled the wraps of its first 2025-model Fiat Ducato-based Torino campervan.

Announced earlier this year, and returning to the fold after Trakka put the model on ice to develop its similarly-sized Akuna (Volkswagen Crafter) and Jabiru (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) models, the striking new Torino campervan features new 48V electrical architecture which will allow it to stay off-grid for longer.

Trakka has revealed its new MY25 Torino in six-metre LWB form

Priced from $152,800 plus on-road costs in six-metre LWB form, the MY25 Torino comes standard with an EcoFlow 5kWh lithium battery (equivalent to 416Ah) on the entry model, expandable to 10kWh or even 15kWh on extra long-wheel base versions.

Other off-grid convenience features include a dual induction cooktop, 150 litre fridge/freezer and 460W solar, while an electric water heater and ducted room cooling and heating replaces more traditional roof-mounted air conditioner and diesel space heater as Trakka goes 'all-electric' when it comes to off-grid power and fuel.

The Torino employs a 2.2-litre turbo diesel four-cylinder engine good for 104kW and 380Nm. As with Trakka’s other MY25 models, the Torino also gains new hardware including drawer catches, taps and an overhead shower in black and brushed gold, as well as new embossed acoustic lining panels, while a number of interior decor themes are on offer including a traditional monochrome industrial look, natural country living feel and a mid-century modern vibe.

Trakka is taking Aussie-built glampervans to a new level

“In our latest model range, we continue to incorporate the reliable features that our customers love,” said Trakka. “Our composite flooring with rubber-backed woven vinyl covering, composite bench and table tops with their thin, scratch-resistant, and durable surfaces, foam insulation, window screens and blinds with concealed frames, and side and rear door sliding insect screens.

“Additionally, our generous 140L fresh and 80L grey water tanks ensure ample water storage for extended trips.”

Additionally, Trakka is offering a separate catalogue of options, including an underbench dishwasher and in-built coffee machine – all captalising on the new electrical architecture.
