2006 NSW Caravan & Camping Supershow

All the gossip and products from this year's event.

Starting on its traditional Saturday after Easter, the NSW Caravan & Camping Supershow drew the school holiday and Anzac Day crowds to a packed Rosehill Racecourse.

Showgoers thronged the outdoor and undercover displays, enjoying the new caravans, campers and motorhomes, accessories and tourism destination stands, as well as a full seminar and entertainment program.

A design challenge successfully met: the Eco-Tourer complete with shower/toilet made its debut.

Windsor's 2006 version of the top-of-the-range Royale was unveiled, with a very classy new look.

Another much anticipated newcomer: the Kimberley Karavan, which lifts and unfolds in various ways to create comfortable offroad living.

Concept's Wayne Freeman and Bruno Caruso unveiled the brand new Randwick, while the Coromal display was in a new spot this year but still managed to win the Best Caravan Stand award.

The gorgeous interior of the rear ensuite Roadstar Magnifique wowed showgoers and Engel products were in demand at Rosehill.

Luxury custom builder Boroma attracted a lot of visitors, and the Golden Eagle had the new must-have accessory - a washing machine.

Cub Campers' latest innovation was an underbed air-conditioner fitted into its popular high-sided camper. Coming soon: a hot water service!

Majestic's Knight at the Seventh Street stand proved family caravanning was not forgotten.

The happy team from Cobram Caravans ran the Compass stand at this year's show, and won the Excellence award for great service.

Jayco's new small pop-top is aptly named Feather.

Golf's luxurious Linwood features rich finishes such as blue leather upholstery. The Sydney Caravan Centre team was proud to label its upmarket Regal as the Star of the Show.

The varied range of Kea campers ensures there's a size to suit all types of travellers.

Thetford appliances and accessories had a stand of their own, including the new range of Spinflo stoves and cooktops.

Rob and Judy Heaslip's innovative campers always attract interested showgoers.

There was plenty to see at the Sydney RV Centre stand, featuring Discoverer Campers.

Trakka's display included some motorhomes decorated with inspiring photographic images.

Show visitors gathered under the awning of a Track Trailer Tvan.
