A smart solution to the problem of having to deal with a bunch of caravan keys, has won a major trophy in the 2023 caravancampingsales Innovation Awards.

NSW-based 1 Key Caravan picks up the Best New Product/Accessory gong in the 2023 caravancampingsales Innovation Awards, which are designed to recognize and reward advancements in the areas of technology, design, quality and safety throughout the Australian RV industry.

1 Key Caravan provides a simple solution to converting all your different caravan locks

"Carrying around a bunch of different keys for different locks, hatches and windows should, in 2023, have long been a thing of the past," caravancampingsales Innovation Awards' judge Rod Chapman said.

"Thankfully this NSW-based couple has made it so, with its lock kit that converts just about every lockable component to the one simple key. Caravan manufacturers, take note!"

While fellow Innovation Awards' judge Michael Browning was succinct in his summary: "At last - the one key caravan!"

The 1 Key Caravan solution was a narrow winner in the 2023 Best New Product/Accessory category, with most judges ranking it highly among the six finalists.

1 Key Caravan co-owner Jamie Finn told caravancampingsales that the business continued to grow as it expands its 'one key' range to cover the market.

"Since we last spoke, we have brought to market the Aussie Traveller door barrel, Lotus toolbox locks, Finch picnic tables and water fillers, so the range is expanding," she said.

"And Atlantic is the first caravan brand to make it standard on their Signature and High Terrain models. So, times are changing fast..."

Not far behind after tallying all the judges' votes was the EcoFlow Wave 2 portable battery-powered air conditioner and heater, which Innovation Awards' judge Phil Lord described as "a blessing for many of us who want to camp but can't afford or don't want a fixed reverse cycle unit, and don't want to be exposed to temperature extremes when at camp".

Third place-getter in the 2023 Best New Product/Accessory category was the RainAway, a quick and easy portable 'gutter' that directs rainwater away from outdoor living areas around the caravan, or to suitable collection points.
