(The alternative solution, a mattress in two pieces, may compromise feel and comfort and is often more costly.)
An added advantage of the bendable construction is that you can prop up the end of the mattress with a suitable bolster if required for health reasons - or simply so you can sit up in bed - without having to invest in an electric bed.
The company's mattresses are made to measure and prices vary. As an indication, a queen-size bendable spring mattress would start at $620 and production time would be two to three weeks.
