Missed out on winning the Ultimate Nissan Adventure Giveaway drawn a few months ago? Never fear, as Carsales.com.au (and its RV offshoot caravancampingsales) in conjunction with Pat Callinan's 4x4 Adventures and Nissan is running another competition, but this time bigger and better with a prize pool of $125,000.
The major prize is a beauty, designed to get you out in the great outdoors in rugged style and comfort. It includes a 2012 Nissan Patrol ST Auto, powered by a 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine, valued at $65,000, and a Track Trailer Tvan Tanami camper trailer worth $39,300.
First prize also includes a $10,000 gift voucher from 4WD accessories specialist ARB, and $8800 of outdoor and camping gear from Rays Outdoors.
If you miss out on the big prize, there are six runner-up prizes of Pat Callinan 4x4 Adventure Packs, valued at $223 each.
To enter the "carsales & Pat Callinan's 4x4 Adventures" competition go to the 4x4 giveaway page and simply enter your name and email address.
The competition is open only to Australian residents who are 18 year of age or older and entries close on April 25, 2012. Full details and terms and conditions are available on the site.
Meanwhile, ‘Mr 4x4’ has branched out into the magazine publishing world, with the release of the first issue of the new Pat Callinan’s 4x4 Adventures magazine.
Published four times a year, the magazine is a high-quality, coffee-table style publication with first-class journalism and photography showcasing some of Australia’s premier 4WD locations and the vehicles and products that will help you get there.
The first issue contains in-depth travel features on the Victorian High Country, NSW Outback and the Canning Stock Route, as well as reviews of the Queensland-built, go-anywhere EarthCruiser motorhome and Jeep’s impressive new Grand Cherokee.
For something a bit different, there’s also a ‘road test’ of coffee-making options while camping, and photography tips including a discussion of the iPhone4’s suitability as a travel camera.
The magazine is available from newsagents, or go to mr4x4.com.au.
